In the early hours of July 25, at 00:30, two vehicles loaded with relief supplies departed from Tianjin Xuhui Hengyuan Plastic Packaging Co., Ltd. More than 20 bags containing a total of 500 sets of tear-resistant, camouflage, two-piece raincoats were delivered to troops stationed in Anyang County, Anyang City, Henan Province, to support their flood‑fighting and emergency rescue efforts.

Recently, heavy rainfall in Zhengzhou and other areas of Henan Province has posed a serious threat to the lives and property of local residents, capturing the attention of the entire nation. On the afternoon of the 24th, Wang Xuhui, chairman of Tianjin Xuhui Hengyuan Plastic Packaging Co., Ltd., learned from the district military affairs department that a unit stationed in Anyang, Henan, was urgently in need of raincoats. Without delay, he set out to procure supplies from multiple locations. After careful comparison, he purchased 500 sets of breathable, tear-resistant camouflage two-piece raincoats that meet the emergency response requirements of soldiers.

At 6:30 p.m. on the 24th, led by Chairman Wang Xuhui, more than 20 workers from Xuhui Hengyuan Plastic Packaging Co., Ltd. stayed behind after work to sort and load the donated raincoats.

Workers carefully inspect each raincoat for damage, using scissors to trim any loose threads that have protruded. Once they’ve confirmed the coats are in perfect condition, they repack them into protective bags. This extra step is taken solely to ensure the soldiers’ comfort during emergency rescue operations.

By the time the 500 raincoats had been sorted, it was already late at night. To facilitate the transport of supplies, team leader Wang Xuhui opted to drive a minivan to Anyang. Meanwhile, the first batch of emergency supplies—40,000 woven bags and 200 bulk‑bag containers—that Wang Xuhui had voluntarily organized for donation on the morning of the 24th arrived in Henan that same evening.

Wang Xuhui told reporters, “The growth of our company has been made possible by the support of the Party and the government, as well as by society at large. When society calls, it is our solemn duty to step up. When one region faces hardship, help comes from all quarters. Donating raincoats to aid Henan was simply what we ought to do.”

At 8:20 a.m. on the 25th, Wang Xuhui and his team of five arrived in Anyang, Henan, where they handed over 500 sets of charitable raincoats to the soldiers. During this visit to Anyang, all five members took thorough preventive measures; once the raincoats were delivered, they promptly began their journey home, minimizing unnecessary contact and ensuring that防疫 protocols were rigorously followed at every step.

The reporter learned from Wang Xuhui that Xuhui Hengyuan Plastic Packaging Co., Ltd., as one of the designated emergency‑supply storage sites, is fully prepared to distribute relief supplies whenever heavy rains and disasters strike, taking proactive measures to fulfill its social responsibility through concrete actions.
